Though I'm no KIA fan, I really believe Mr Schreyer has accomplished what Chris Bangle did for BMW, as Carlos Ghosn for Nissan. Its good to see Asian motor companies moving forward in terms of design, safety, and performance. Collboration has its perks - something Proton should seriously emulate to survive. Good day and a very heartfelt thanks to all Malay Mail readers and the ones who have posted comments. This coming from the daughter of the Malaysian Football Player Santokh Singh. Would like to inform all of you that Mr. Santokh is doing well and is stable but unable to talk as he is still under the care of the good folks of ICU at GH. There has been many rumours going about what happened and just to clear the air he had epileptic attacks due to viral infection. Would like to thank the many friends and family members who have visited him and thanks for all the prayers. It's not about the titles but its maily about how much the man has done for the country. Till today when you talk about football you mention the unsungheroes who have done Malaysia proud. Our Malaysian team are doing their best and all we need are supporters to boost their morale. Always the Indons and the Africans. And when they do their crime, they hide behind Human Rights after they get caught. I say enough with being civilized with these people. Seriously I don't get what are these people fighting about? Don't we have bigger issues to worry about that warrants more govt/public attention like corruption, our poor economy and even our rising crime rate? I'm a lecturer teaching in KL but I go back home to Johor often to be with my family. Hence, it doesn't really matter to me who wins in the water tussle. It is a state/federal affair and it should be solved at that level. However it will be a great concern to me and I will certainly object if taxpayers' money is used for any buyout. Let's be clear about it - our hard earned money should not be used to cover other people's mistakes.It's definitely not fair for the Rakyat - all the more for me since I'm not from Selangor or KL state. It's high time our government starts being transparent about such issues and not sweep everything under the carpet. I fully agree with Lim. Referring to the letter to the editor dated 24 November 2009 regarding the Water Tussle in Selangor, I would like to thank the Malay Mail and its reader for highlighting something that normally goes unreported.Likewise, I too was not aware that the hike was as much as 37 per cent. That is too much lah to pay for water! I am strongly supporting the state on this matter as they have promised to fight to prevent any increase in treated water prices. On a lesser note, I find it puzzling that on hand news report today says Syabas has made profits and have been received compensation from the state but on the other hand Syabas still hutang its suppliers.
